A quick review of my fleece blanket. I live off grid so things like heat and heating blankets are hard to have since we don’t have traditional electricity. Unfortunately, it has been cold and windy the past few weeks here in FL. When I lived in a large home with electricity I would use an electric blanket to keep warm and wondered if I could find one for the boat. Well of course I found one on amazon. The best part of this blanket is that it runs off 12-volt.
The blanket I choose was Roadpro 12-volt fleece heated blanket. The blanket is 100% polar fleece material which makes it super cozy. It plugs directly into your 12-volt socket and it only draws 4.6 amps or (55 watts). It has an 8ft power cord with LED indicator on the plug so at night I can tell it is still on. I have been using my blanket for the past few weeks. It is not a huge blanket only 58” x 42.5” but it works great across our queen size bed. The nice thing about this one is that it works great and doesn’t use a lot of power, so I can use it all night long. This review is not sponsored by Amazon or by Roadpro.
