Yes, I said dishwasher. For Mother’s Day I was able to get a dishwasher for my tiny living sailboat. I know to some of you fellow boaters you probably think I am crazy, but it uses less water than if I washed them by hand and is super energy efficient.it uses only 1.1 litters of water in the ECO mode and 2.7 AMPS. The dishwasher is so nice to have especially how much cooking I do daily. Most of our dishes fit in it. Let me tell you a little about it.
The dishwasher is a compact countertop version made for a small apartment or a tiny space. It has a 6-place setting rack with a silverware basket. Normally it is used on a countertop hooked to a faucet, but my hubby was able to hook it to our water pump so all I need to do is fill it with dishes and push start. It comes with 6 different wash cycles heavy, normal, ECO, speed and rinse. I use the ECO the most because I want to use less water. This is a game changer. While I am talking about some new gear, we have on SV Iron Maiden I got an portable induction cooktop. I absolutely love this stovetop because we no longer heat up the boat every time I cook. In the past I would heat our boat anytime I cooked but now there is no heat. It took me a little time to learn how to use this stove because they cook super quick but draw a little more power. This powerful single burner electric countertop features 10 heating levels. The heat wattage ranges from 120W to 1500W it’s a good thing we have lithium batteries for when we are off grid.
