This year our thanksgiving was much different because we are doing the Keto lifestyle. We made some of the traditional food such as Turkey and gravy. We converted some other things to be keto friendly. I made the pumpkin pie keto friendly and these amazing stuffing balls. Here are some yummy recipes.
Stuffing Balls Ingredients 1 LB Sausage Ground 2 eggs 1 cup almond flour 2tsp onion powder 2tsp baking powder 1tsp celery salt 2 oat fiber 1 salt & pepper 2tsp oregano dried 1tsp parsley dried 1tsp sage Instructions 1. Add sausage and eggs to bowl. 2. Add almond flour and baking powder. 3. Add all the spices. 4. Mix everything well. 5. Make into balls then fry. 6. Enjoy. Keto pumpkin cupcakes (pie) Ingredients for pie crust Ingredients for pie filling 2 & ½ cups almond flour 15oz canned pure pumpkin 4 tbsp. sweetener 3 lg eggs {room temperature} 5 tbsp. grass-fed butter 2/3 cup sweetener 1 egg 4 tbsp. heavy whipping cream 1 tsp pumpkin pie seasoning 2 &1/2 tsp pumpkin seasoning 1 tsp vanilla extract Instructions for pie crust 1. Add almond flour, sweetener, butter, egg and pie seasoning in a bowl and mix well. 2. For cup cakes line a cup cake liner with part of the crust 3. Then fill with pie filling. Instructions for pie filling 1. Add canned pumpkin. 2. Add eggs. 3. Add sweetener. 4. Add Heavy whipping cream. 5. Add pumpkin seasoning and vanilla extract. 6. Enjoy.

4 avocados 1 pd hamburger meat Taco seasoning of your choice Lettuce Tomato’s Cheese How to make 1. Start by cutting your avocados in half then scoop out the center to make a bowl for hamburger. I keep the scooped-out avocados to make guacamole. 2. Next fry up the hamburger add seasoning of your choice. 3. Once hamburger is done start filling the avocados with it. 4. Once all the avocados are filled add cheese and stick in your oven till cheese is melted. I use my George Foreman Evolve Grill to cook them. 5. Once all cheese is melted add toppings. This was a super keto friendly meal, But anyone would enjoy it no matter what your eating style is. 1 egg 1 tsp lard 2 cups of flour 2 tsp water 2 chicken breasts 1 onion 3 cups of chicken broth 2 potatoes How to make 1. Cook chicken and onion in broth till chicken is done. 2. Remove chicken from broth and shred. 3. Peel potatoes and add to pot. 4. mix egg lard, flour and water. 5. Mix dough into 2 balls. 6. Roll out flat and cut into small squares. 7. Add the squares to broth along with shredded chicken. 8. Cook until dough is cooked and serve. Ingredients
1 pound of shrimp 1 tablespoon of garlic ½ stick of butter or coconut oil 1 to 2 lemons 2 tablespoons of parsley ½ box of angel hair pasta Parmesan cheese Instructions 1. Boil pasta. 2. Once pasta is finished set it aside. 3. In a frying pan melt butter and garlic. 4. Add shrimp until they turn pick on both sides. 5. Add lemon to the top of the shrimp. 6. Mix the shrimp mixture with the pasta and add more lemon, parsley and parmesan cheese. 7. Enjoy! We just used our instant pot to make a dozen eggs.
1 dozen eggs 1 cup of water 12 min on the egg timer setting. the eggs came out perfect. They shelled super easy. The shell fell off. Ingredients For about 8 quesadillas 2 full chicken breasts shredded ¼ cup olive oil ¾ cup to 1 cup hot sauce (I use Sirach) 4tbsp honey 4tbsp soy sauce 2tbsp minced garlic 1tbsp parsley ½ cup peanut butter Juice of 1 lime Optional red chili flakes ¼ cheddar cheese 16 small tortilla shells How to make 1. Fry or boil (I boil) chicken breast once done shred chicken or cut into small cubes. 2. Make sauce add all and wet ingredients together in a bowl. 3. Add chicken and all sauce into a frying pan for a few minutes to coat chicken or you can put into the fridge or freezer to use later. 4. Next take a clean frying pan or cooking surface add oil or cooking spray so nothing sticks to cook quesadillas. 5. Lastly assembly the quesadillas tortilla shell, cheese, mixed chicken sauce and top with tortilla. 6. Cook till both sides are golden brown. This is one of my favorite meals to make when it is done you can put in on rice or noodles. I also have made wraps with it. Chicken and peppers bake is super easy to make I use our outside grill to bake it but it can be done in a crockpot or all in one pot as well. Here is the recipe: Chicken and peppers Ingredients One chicken breast for each person 4 green and colored peppers One package of taco mix Bag or block of cheddar cheese How to make it Line a baking pan with tin foil then add a little of oil or cooking spray Add chicken breast add half of the taco mix Top chicken with peppers add a little oil and the rest of the taco mix Add cheddar cheese Bake on grill for 30 to 40 minutes Enjoy!! Dinner tonight chicken and dumplings. Here is the recipe:
Chicken and dumplings 1 can of chicken or 2 cooked chicken breasts chopped 2 cans of chicken broth... 2 cans cream of chicken soup 1 bag of frozen vegetables 1 tablespoon of butter 2 packages mini biscuits in tube Parsley to taste Salt & pepper to taste Instructions Start by adding butter and vegetables till they are cooked Add 1 can of broth till boiled Add both cans of soup and the other can of broth Add chicken Let all the ingredients come to a boil and thicken up Once everything is thick like soup drop the rolls in one at a time Put a lid on the pot and turn down the temp to a simmer Once the rolls are firm you’re finished. |
